Vintage Malt som vi nu har provat är en vatted malt. Dvs en blandning av flera olika maltwhisky. Det tre viktigaste som ingår är Macallan, Higland Park och Bunnahabhain.

The Famous Grouse Vintage Malt is a vatted malt whisky, meaning that it is a marriage of malt whiskies. Every drop of spirit used to create this truly unique malt whisky has been individually selected from some of the world’s most highly regarded whisky distillers, including the illustrious The Macallan, the superbly rounded Highland Park and the mellow, maritime Bunnahabhain.

Added to the quality of the ingredients used, The Famous Grouse Master Blender chooses to craft Vintage Malt from a single year’s distillation. Gathering some of the world’s finest whiskies, he noses samples from each cask individually to ensure only the best casks from each year of distillation are selected. Only when he is satisfied these whiskies reflect the quality standards of Scotland’s favourite whisky, does he create a Vintage Malt Whisky that illustrates the perfection of that vintage year.
