är ön Isle of Islays huvudstad. Destilleriet grundades 1779 och där
används fortfarande tre mältningsgolv där kornet vänds för hand var
fjärde timme. Vattnet tas från Laggan River som är öns största flod.
Colour: Full, amber, very bright
Nose: Lightish, peaty, burnt heather with a characteristic tang of ozone/ iodine and even a whiff of chocolate!
Flavour: Smooth, refined flavour with a pronounced smoky peatiness
Finish: Good, long & dry
