Colour: Full, amber, very bright
Nose: Lightish, peaty, burnt heather with a characteristic tang of ozone/ iodine and even a whiff of chocolate!
Flavour: Smooth, refined flavour with a pronounced smoky peatiness
Finish: Good, long & dry

En av höjdpunkterna bland Islay Whisky. Har alla de typisk dragen med sin runda smak, inte lika aggresiv som sina bröder. En av de äldsta tillverkarna med anor från 1779. Finns i flera lagringar, 10, 12, 21, 25, 30 och även 40 år, den senare är inte helt vanlig.

The charm of Bowmore Malt is due in part to the traditional distilling methods still in use today, the natural advantages of the cool, moist sea breezes and dark, aromatic peat which all combine to give Bowmore its uniqe quality as the most complex of all malt whiskies.
